The MB981U3-1S enhances the USB 3.0 performance by adding the UASP support and allows you to quickly swap any standard 2.5” and 3.5” SATA HDD/SSD. It’s a perfect tool for gamers, designers, IT professionals and even average users. Performance Meets Flexibility The MB981U3-1S USB 3.0 interface featuring UASP support, which delivers higher transfer speeds to supporting devices. It’s also backward compatible with the USB 2.0 interface, allowing the device to be used with any system that has USB 2.0 interface. The MB981U3-1S covers the latest systems from hosts with USB 3.0 interface and UASP support, to older generation computers still using USB 2.0 interface. The MB981U3-1S uses tool-less plug & play design for both 2.5” and 3.5” SATA hard disk and solid state drives – simply plug in the HDD/SSD and hit the power button to get started.
